The following procedure is for repairs or replacements on engine
assemblies during the warranty period, if a problem should
develop with an engine assembly supplied by Certified Automotive
Machining Company.

(713-694-1991) or fax (713-694-7701) our Customer Service Warranty
Specialists for assistance. Be prepared to provide the following
information:
Serial number. Diesel engine serial numbers are either stamped
into the block or printed on a brass tag next to the injection
pump, except for Navistar Dl ("Power Stroke") engines
where the serial number is placed near the oil cooler.
Part number of the engine or engine component with the defect.
Make, model and year of the vehicle.
Name and address of the original installer.
Date and mileage at original installation.
Mileage on the speedometer at the time of the failure.
Nature of the defect as diagnosed and the recommended repair.
If the problem is to be covered by our "Limited Warranty",
a claim number will be issued. FourStar / DMC reserves the rights
to repair, replace or initiate a repair and return process to
correct the defect.
FourStar / DMC will audit the defective part. If the part passes
normal inspection procedures or if it failed for reasons other
than factory workmanship or material quality, FourStar / DMC
retains the right to charge back the exchange parts price, core
deposit and labor. Return freight amount will be charged, if
return of parts is requested.
WARNING : Disposal of a failed product or part, without
prior approval by FourStar / DMC, may result in a denied claim !
