FOUR STAR CYLINDER HEAD DESCRIPTION

CYLINDER HEAD ASSEMBLY INCLUDES

Fully cleaned, magna-fluxed/pressured tested cylinder head casting.

Valve guides are inspected and replaced as required.

Valve seating area, head thickness and stems are inspected. Valves are replaced as required. Valve faces are machined to OEM Specifications and valve stems are butt ground to insure a square rocker to valve tip contact.

Each valve seat is triple cut to provide a .045" face margin.

Head gasket mating surface is machinied to provide the proper deck height and symmetry between the cylinder head and block mating surfaces.

Valve springs are inspected/pressure tested and replaced as required.

Rocker arm studs are inspected and replaced as required.

All freeze plugs and pollution plugs are replaced.

Intake / Exhaust manifold and accessory bolt holes are inspected and repaired as required.

Cylinder heads are assemblied using new valve locks and valve stem seals.
