Short / Long Block assemblies are sold on a TYPE FOR TYPE exchange basis except in Marine applications where the engine assembly is sold outright, without a core deposit, and the returning of the old Marine engine core is not necessary. The sales price includes the exchange Short / Long Block assemblies price and a core deposit except in Marine applications where the engine assembly is sold outright, without a core deposit, and the returning of the old Marine engine core is not necessary. The core deposit will be refunded upon the return of the used non-Marine Short / Long Block assembly replaced by the remanufactured non-Marine Short / Long Block assembly EXCEPT IN THE FOLLOWING SITUATIONS:

EXCEPTIONS

1.) The used Short / Long Block assembly ( CORE ) of a like type was not returned within 30 days from the sale of the remanufactured Short / Long Block assembly to the purchaser.

2.) The used Short / Long Block assembly ( CORE ) returned is not the one that was replaced by the remanufactured Short / Long Block assembly purchased or is not the exact TYPE, STYLE, or CUBIC INCHES/LITERS.

3.) The used Short / Long Block assembly ( CORE ) returned has visible damage to the BLOCK, HEADS, CRANKSHAFT or OIL PUMP caused by broken internal components.

4.) The used Short / Long Block assembly ( CORE ) returned does not have all the parts that were furnished with the remanufactured Short / Long Block assembly attached. Shortages will be charged back and deducted from the core credit.

5.) The used Short / Long Block assembly ( CORE ) returned was not completely assembled and/or does not have all the main caps attached in their correct positions. A used Short / Long Block assembly ( CORE ) that has been previously disassembled, cleaned, inspected and reassembled will be marked ACCEPTANCE SUBJECT TO FACTORY INSPECTION.

6.) The used Short / Long Block assembly ( CORE ) was not suitable for remanufacturing. The used Short / Long Block assembly ( CORE ) returned was a RUSTY ENGINE, a JUNK YARD ENGINE or a SALVAGE YARD CUT OUT!

7.) A damaged or broken used Short / Long Block assembly ( CORE ) that is not acceptable for full core credit may be returned to the factory for salvage credit. The credit value of salvage cores will be determined by CAMCo based on current acquisition cost of useable cores and components. NO CORES ARE RETURNABLE TO CUSTOMERS AFTER INSPECTION AND CREDIT!
